It seems that a lot of people adore this game. Great work.
Absolutely beautiful presentation and wonderful gameplay. I think it would have been nice to be able to dodge the capture box—if the player really books it.
I can imagine this world expanding. Extra floors. More houses. Maybe even outside areas between houses with irritating leaf blowers and dangerous lawnmowers?
As someone who's a huge fan of the Glider series on the Macintosh, I can't help but picture some of the elements from those games popping into this one.
Love the feedback! I think being able to dodge or outrun the box is a good idea.
Extra floors is definitely a part of this. More houses might eventually come, but not at the moment. I had an idea to make the second house have more puzzle elements like levers and keys to find (thanks for those who provided that idea).
Congrats! This has the potential to be one of the best action games on the system. The Graphics are awesome, and the mobility is like butter. With the inclusion of some randomized placements, an extra floor or two, and a more polished stealth system, this is a game I would spend hours playing. My only gripe is the horizontal visibility, I feel like the human sees me as soon as she appears on-screen.
Every time I see your 1-bit art I'm amazed how polished and detailed it looks for the medium. I had a blast flying around exacting revenge on the human! Cool use of Panels in the tutorial as well :).
This game is an absolute treat, it's the perfect pick up and play when you've just got a couple minutes game. I've completed the game a couple times and managed a huge hignscore(albeit not quite understanding how the scoring works). Are you planning any more levels or some sort of procedural generation?
Thanks and glad to hear! Objects have different point amounts. If you destroy multiple objects in a row, the multiplier stacks resulting in a higher score.
There was a whole second floor planned for initial release, but decided to reduce scope for this competition. I have some of it designed out, but just hadn't had the time.
Procedural generation is a great idea or even randomization of object placement. Thanks for the idea!
I'll be looking forward to more levels. This is easily my favorite experience on the playdate so far. I imagine that if you continue developing this beyond the competition, you'd likely be able to get this listed on Catalog. If and when that happens you can add global leaderboards and really see what the people can do with the multipliers!
Thanks for your kind words! Yes, I may have to look to add more levels or additional content to make it a more complete game. Would be great to be listed on Catalog! Global Leaderboards would be awesome!

How will the release version be different?
We want more!

Appreciate your thoughts and interest!
Ooh. Puzzle elements would be super cool. I look forward to whatever things you decide to add.
Totally. Thanks for the initial feedback. I have incorporated the ability to escape the box in a future update.

Wow! Thanks!
Randomized placements seems like a good way to go. I'll see if I can add them.
Yeah, the human seeing the crow can be a bit tricky. I have included footstep sounds when the human is close but offscreen.
Congrats on winning.
Appreciate it! And thanks for running such an awesome jam!
Fantastic stuff, such a fun game! Just "feels" right, even down to the little feather dropping as you flap.
Thank you!

Thanks Fev!
This game is a delight!
Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
This one's realllll good. Great job! Feels like an easy in for Catalog.
I hope I can get it into Catalog. Will be working on a few updates before submission.
The game is cute as heck, fun to play with tight controls and a nice little story. Totally recommended.
Thanks!
